I believe that imagination is our greatest human resource. I believe books and emerging media have the power to change the world for the better and are the best means we have to advance and evolve our global culture. As such, I have dedicated 20 years as a journalist, writer/editor, speaker, & educator to working with the international book publishing and media communities.
You might know me best as the founder and former Editor-in-Chief of PublishingPerspectives.com, which I helped launch in in 2009 with the German Book Office in New York. There, I wrote, commissioned and/or edited more than 3,600 feature articles covering all aspects of the international book business. You can read an archive of my personal work from Publishing Perspectives here, as well as peruse just some of hundreds of reviews and essays, I’ve written — for everyone from USA Today, Bloomberg News, People and Publishers Weekly — here and here.
Since 2000, I have delivered lectures and training to top organizations and academic institutions involved in creative industries around the world. I have also organized and moderated a variety of panels and discussions at global publishing trade fairs.
Today, I’m excited to take on new exciting challenges for global publishers and culture creators.
Books and culture are my business. Are they yours? Let’s talk!
